The Promised Land Episode 3 "Pitfalls": Recap & Review
In Episode 3, Moses briefly comes down the mountain to deliver the new rules and bring the elders to meet God, before returning a third time to commune further with the Lord (Exodus 20-24) resulting in Aaron’s disastrous decision to create a Golden Calf (Exodus 32). Below I’ll give a brief summary of the episode and evaluate it as a Bible adaptation and a comedy.

House of David Season 2 Episode 2: Review, Recap, & Analysis
After the action-packed opening to House of David Season 2, Episode 2 slows things down a bit in order to hammer home the cost of Israel’s victory and the ramifications it will have for David, the House of Saul, and other key figures. If you’re following along in Scripture, Season 2 Episode 2 is basically covering the start of David’s ascent through the Israelite military (1 Samuel 18:5) as well as the resulting drama in the House of Saul.

House of David Season 2 Episode 1: Review, Recap, & Analysis
Episode 1 of House of David Season 2 picks up right where Episode 8 of Season 1 left off, with David’s triumph over Goliath and the ensuing battle between the Israelites and Philistines, followed by David's reunion with King Saul and Jonathan after the battle (1 Samuel 17:51-18:4). House of David Season 2 Trailer Insights & Analysis
A new trailer just dropped for House of David Season 2, which premieres on October 5 on the Wonder Project subscription service on Amazon Prime. Season 2 will pick up with the aftermath of David's defeat of Goliath and follow David's ascent to commander of the Israelite army, his friendship with Jonathan, and his doomed romance with Mychal, all of which fuel Saul's violent envy and paranoia, eventually forcing David to go on the run as an outlaw.
